Manual Machinist – Job Shop

 Experienced in setting up an operating manual mill and lathe equipment to make parts. Use blueprints and design sketches to ensure the proper dimensions and tolerance levels of the finished product.

Candidate must be able to:

  • Read blue prints, mechanical drawings, and design sketches
  • Duplicate parts by determining dimensions and tolerances from sample
  • Take metallic and non-metallic material and process jobs from start to finish
  • Understand all machine tooling, feed speed, depth and angle of required cuts
  • Follow orders and job data sheets, as well as instruction and direction
  • Verify and inspect the parts, as needed
  • Attention to all tolerance requirements and meet quality standards
  • Correctly complete all relevant paperwork and follow deadlines

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in manual machining
  • Detail oriented, to provide the highest level of quality
  • Have most precision set-up tools, basic measuring instruments, and hand tools necessary for work
  • High school education or GED
  • Technical Machining School a plus

We are not a production shop and process by jobs with the need to acquire material, do full set-up, and process the job.
We process a wide variety of jobs and materials.

CNC  Machinist

  •  Set up and operation of 5 Axis Gantry style CNC machine with articulating head.
  • Program 5 Axis CNC using Master-cam 2017
  • Importing and exporting CNC programs into Fanuc controls.
  • Adjusting CNC program at machine.
  • Knowledge of SFM, in materials from aluminum to stainless steel
  • Fixturing large weldments and large weldment frames.
  • Indicating parts, setting zeros on all axis of machine.
  • Must be able to operate overhead hoist. Detail oriented, to provide the highest level of quality.
  • Have most precision set-up tools, basic measuring instruments, and hand tools necessary for work.
  • Technical Machining School a plus.
